2014 Cy Creek Hike & Bike Trails Public Workshop Print
Wednesday, 13 August 2014
Hear ye, hear ye

Prestonwood Forest residents are invited to participate in a public workshop to discuss hike & bike trails along Cypress Creek on Wednesday, September 10th, 6:30 p.m. at the Prestonwood Forest Clubhouse, 13702 Prestonwood Forest Dr.

The meeting will be chaired by Edminster, Hinshaw, Russ & Associates (EHRA). This effort is partially funded by the Prestonwood Forest Utility District. EHRA has been tasked to compile a Trails Master Plan for our area that includes proposals for the Prestonwood Forest area. Ultimately this plan will show connections throughout our region for hike and bike trails and additional opportunities for trail locations.

Public input is desired to help recommend locations for these trails and set goals and a vision to be considered in the plan. Please attend and tell your friends!

Prestonwood Flyers 2015? Print
Sunday, 25 May 2014

In order to form a 2015 Prestonwood Flyers swim team, for our neighborhood children, interested residents must quickly address a few time-sensitive issues.

1. Northwest Aquatic League (NWAL) requires Prestonwood’s commitment to field next year’s team by August 1, 2014just days from now !

a. August is when NWAL creates the divisions/rotations for the upcoming season.

2. From our neighborhood perspective, the following must be in place by August 1, 2014:

a. A committed full executive board (President, VP, treasurer, Team Rep., and Secretary) of homeowner’s in good standing with the Homeowners Association.

b. A committed regular board (computers, concessions, officials, set up/ tear down, timers, scribes, and many more positions).

The Prestonwood Flyers were one of the oldest teams in the NWAL area – 41 years! Because of their parent’s interest and commitment, several generations of Prestonwood children have been able to enjoy the healthy exercise, and comradery of friendly team competition.
