NOTICE: Trash WILL BE picked-up July 4th Print

The HOA has confirmed that WCA will be picking up trash on Saturday, July 4, 2020, in contradiction to their website and our original schedule provided in the Association’s contract. Please make plans to put your trash out as usual!

Latest Waste Collection UPDATE Print

Notice from WCA dated June 12, 2020: WCA Waste provides an essential service to our customers and the community, and we remain focused on prioritizing essential collection and disposal services. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will update our dedicated webpage as new information becomes available. This includes continuing to work closely with public health experts and other advisors, as well as following guidance from the CDC and adhering to OSHA guidelines regarding the safe handling of waste and recycling. Please check back often.
 
Curbside Services
Curbside service will resume back to your normal scheduled service day(s).
 
Bulk Services
Collection will be limited to (2) bulk/yard waste items.
 
As a reminder, due to COVID-19, please make sure all your trash/refuse is bagged and sealed, and wherever possible, placed in containers. Loose items will not be collected.
 
Should WCA Waste experience any unexpected delays or cancellations that will inhibit operations, customers will be notified accordingly.

Prestonwood Forest - COVID 19 Facilities Update Print

It's summertime and we know everyone is itching to get outside, go to the pools and parks and just feel normal again! And we understand that with the school year ending, the kids are eager to utilize the community swimming pools so we wanted to send an update on our current situation....
 
Our highest priority is getting our facilities opened as quickly and safely as possible and we know everyone has seen the Federal and Local updates advising that pools can now be opened. However, we want to reiterate that there are still many safety restrictions in place that are also governed by the Harris County Health Department and the Texas Department of Health and Safety for opening private swimming pools that are not always detailed in media reports. And because of these guidelines and restrictions, as well as the delayed ability to train and staff lifeguards, we will be unable to open the pool until possibly late June or early July, if at all. NOTICE: Online Homeowners Association Meeting Thursday, May 21st Print

The Prestonwood Forest Maintenance Association Board of Directors will be holding their meetings via teleconference through the Zoom video/audio meeting app until such time as COVID 19 social gathering restrictions are lifted. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2020 beginning at 7:00 pm. Homeowners are welcome to login to the open portion of the online meeting between 7-8 pm pursuant to the following guidelines:

1. If you would like to attend the online meeting, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it providing your property address and cell phone number and once verified, meeting login instructions will be forwarded to you.

2. Meeting attendees will be subject to initial approval before entering the meeting, therefore the meeting administrator must be able to recognize your screen name for video entry or your phone number for audio entry.

3. All attendees will be placed on mute upon entry into the meeting to ensure that the Board can conduct their business without audio interference.

**Video attendees have the ability to use the applications showing a "raised hand" signaling you have a comment or question and you will be called upon during the open forum section of the meeting.

**Audio attendees can either send an email question(s) in advance to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and such will be answered during the meeting and the person(s) who sent in the question(s) will be called upon by the Board to speak. Or you can send an email during the beginning of the meeting to the same email address and we will make every attempt to keep track of such and answer your question.

4. Any inappropriate actions or comments will result in immediate dismissal from the meeting.
