Recreation Access Card Policy - Swimming Pools

1

The ‘Recreation Access Card’ is Required to Enter and Use Pool/Tennis/Clubhouse Facilities. (The annual Pool Tags function is now included in the single ‘Recreation Access Card’.)

2

Recreation Facilities Access is available to property owners in good standing with the Prestonwood Forest Maintenance Association.

  1. Residents who have obtained the use of property rights from the owner(s) must present proper documentation.

3

Each physical address is issued one (1) ‘Recreation Access Card’, which will be assigned through the duration of residency in the community and will work year-round – pursuant to each facility’s posted hours of operation.

4

Current resident / ‘Recreation Access Card’holder – must use the access card to enter facility gates. Residents must accompany guests at all times at any facility. When visiting the pool facilities, all residents must sign-in to the pool, on the lifeguard’s log, and register all accompanying guests.

5

Each ‘Recreation Access Card’ will enable up to no more than twelve (12) persons to enter the pool facility, subject to the maximum safe capacity of the pool.

6

Children under 12 years-old must be with an adult of eighteen (18) years or older, who agrees to be responsible for the behavior and safety of the child or children while they are in the Pool area. Please review the ‘Swimming Pool Rules’ for additional age, conduct, dress code, etc. requirements.

7

Misuse, misconduct and any violation of facility rules, as well as assessment delinquency will result in suspension of the ‘Recreation Access Card’.

How to Use the Recreation Access Card - Swimming Pools

1

The ‘Recreation Access Card’ is Required to Enter and Use Pool/Tennis/Clubhouse Facilities.

2

Hold the ‘Recreation Access Card’ in front of the small black ‘card-reader’ box, with the red light - that is on or near the facility gate.

3

When the red light on the card reader box turns green, you will hear a ‘click’, representing the lock release, and you can then open the gate.

4

Facility Gate access will be determined by the posted hours of operation for each facility. Lifeguards must be present in order to enter the pool area.

5

Important – Each ‘Recreation Access Card’ is registered to a specific house and all entry/exit at each facility is digitally recorded unique to that house address. Therefore, it is very important that you do not let anyone other than your household use your access card – and immediately report any lost or stolen card to High Sierra Management.
