2023 CHILDRENS WATER CONSERVATION CONTEST |
![]() Attention all Prestonwood Forest children and teenagers! The Prestonwood Forest Utility District is sponsoring a contest for you to submit your idea of what water conservation means to you! BE CREATIVE!! Write a poem or an essay, create a piece of artwork, share creative ideas, etc. Here are some topics to use for creating your submission: What does water conservation look like to you? Why is water conservation important to you? What do you and your family do to conserve water? What ideas do you have for our great neighborhood to save and conserve water?
Where to submit your entry: Drop your entry off at 8122 Dorrcrest Ln. (Utility Water Director Cindy Ems). A basket to collect your entry will be on the front porch. Awards: A total of nine (9) winners will be chosen – three from each grade level group! Winners will be awarded based on creativity and uniqueness of their idea submission - and their submission will be printed in the Prestonwood Press. The three (3) grade-level groups are:
One prize for1st place: $50, 2nd Place: $40, and 3rd Place: $30 will be awarded in each of the three (3) grade level groups. |
