Congratulations to the 2014 ‘Nite of Lites’ Awards winners! ! Their hard work and efforts are evident and certain to be appreciated by all neighborhood visitors. The Nite of Lites Committee announced the following 2014 award locations:
Best All Around - 8123 Brinkworth, Best House - 8202 Fernbrook, Best Door - 8127 Brinkworth, Best Lamp Post - 8118 Brinkworth, Best Mailbox - 8226 Brinkworth, Best Block - 8100 Wycomb, Runner-Up Block - 8200 Middlebury, and Best Cul de Sac - 8100 Schaffer
The enthusiastic visitor and resident participation with real-time voting for the People’s Choice’ Award exceeded all expectations. The online voting adds a new level of fun when touring the Prestonwood Forest community – and is another ‘first’ that distinguishes Prestonwood’s ‘Nite of Lites’.
Now for the online voting results!
• Forty seven wonderfully-decorated homes were nominated in almost 500 votes for ‘favorites’. Votes were also received through the optional ‘photo submission’ process (including a video and an aerial drone photo!).
• The “TOP 10” nominees accounted for 80% of the total votes and positions were competitive, continually changing during the voting period.
