Overview: WCA Trash Services – Starting May 30! Print

Your Board of Directors is pleased to announce that beginning Wednesday, May 30, 2018, WCA Waste Services will become the new trash service provider for Prestonwood Forest Maintenance Association! This change allows us to continue all existing trash services, remain within our current operating budget and begin curbside recycling. Beginning Saturday, May 26, 2018 our existing trash contractor (Republic Waste) will be removing their trash containers from each residence, so please do not be alarmed when your existing trash carts start to disappear. On Monday, May 28, WCA will begin delivering a new 95 gallon rolling trash cart and 65 gallon rolling recycling cart to each residence in the community. It may take them a few days to get all of the carts delivered so if you have not received yours by late afternoon on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, please contact High Sierra Management. Please note that delinquent accounts will not receive new trash containers until satisfactory payment arrangements have been made. All other aspects of your trash service will remain the same. Below you will find additional information to help answer any questions you may have. We hope that all of you are pleased with this positive change for the community and we thank you in advance for your continued patience through the transition process!
