Prestonwood Forest is one of the few subdivisions in the Houston area that can boast of both a pool designed for families and pure recreation and a 2nd pool designed for not only recreation but amateur competitive swimming. These pools are managed by Houston Recreation Management on a contractual basis and funded by Homeowners' maintenance fees. Admittance to these pools is limited to homeowners and renters who have obtained the use of property rights from the property owners. All users are required to possess Pool Tags for admittance. The Prestonwood Flyers Swim Team is also authorized to use the back pool for team practices and for scheduled swim meets.

Pool Party Rentals
Both pools are available for rent to property owners and renters who have obtained the use of property rights from the property owner. Swimming pools are available for rent in the summer swimming season only, and outside the regular pool hours. There is a one hour minimum required for any rental and events must not extend beyond 11pm. All parties must be arranged and paid at least twenty (20) days in advance of the event.

Arrangements for the use of either pools can be made with the Maintenance Board Pool Director in charge of swimming pools. Contact the Pool Director.
Pool Tags
Pool tags are required for admittance to the pools. Prior to the pools being opened for the season, pool tags will be made available to property owners and to those residents who have obtained the use of property rights from the property owners.
Each property in good standing with the Maintenance Association will be issued 3 (three) physical pool tags. The tag allotment applies to the physical address within Prestonwood Forest.
Pool Tags will not be issued to minors or renters without proper documentation from the owner.
If you are a resident who has obtained the use of property rights from your property owner(s) please include proper documentation.
Each physical pool tag will enable the carrier of the pool tag plus 4 (four) guests to enter the pool facility subject to the maximum safe capacity of the pool. Each Pool Tag holder and their guests should sign into and out of the pool on the log sheet provided by the Lifeguard staff. Extra pool tags are not authorized for temporary houseguests as they are considered guests of the member.
Pool tags will be available at the April, May, June, July, and August Maintenance Association meetings held at 7pm, on the 1st Thursdays of each month, at the Clubhouse. Pool tags will be available during the Association’s annual open house event between 12 noon and 2:00 pm.

Pool Area Rules
1. Pool is only for Prestonwood Forest residents and their designated guests.
2. Each physical pool tag will enable the carrier of the pool tag plus 4 (four) guests to enter the pool facility subject to the maximum safe capacity of the pool.
3. Do NOT play with Life Buoy or Safety Hook or Skimmer pole/net.
4. Swim suits only in pool. No cut-offs, jogging shorts or cotton T-shirts.
5. CHILDREN UNDER 12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT 18 YEARS OR OLDER, who agrees to be responsible for the behavior and safety of the child or children while they are in the Pool area.
6. No inner-tubes, floats, flippers or balls in pool area. Small children are permitted the use of safety flotation devices.
7. NO GLASS containers in pool area.
8. No running, pushing, or hazardous horseplay.
9. No foods, drinks, paper or gum in the pool.
10. No alcoholic beverages may be consumed in the pool area.
11. No animals inside pool area anytime.
12. No Bicycles, skateboards, skates, or scooters inside pool area.
13. NO throwing of ANY objects into pool.
14. NO foul language.
15. NO excessive use of oils and lotions before using Pool.
16. Trash is to be placed in poolside containers.
