Prestonwood Forest was developed in the early 1970's as a premier residential community and it continues to be an excellent place to live, with stable home values, top-rated schools and community services second to none. When the neighborhood association was formed in 1971, By-Laws and Deed Restrictions were put in place to ensure the continuing integrity and stability of the subdivision; these Deed Restrictions were last amended in 1977. While all homeowners are responsible for their own property, all homeowners must also adhere to the rules governing allowable modifications and additions prior to altering their property. These rules are designed to protect and maintain the attractiveness of the subdivision and to help maintain its property values.
